About Trinity

Disciples of Christ with a biblical worldview

Situated in Johannesburg, Trinity aims to cultivate disciples of Christ who possess a biblical worldview and the character to serve God faithfully. Learn about our vision, our history, and our current phase of development.

Our vision

At Trinity, we aim to see our learners become wise and discerning readers, persuasive writers, and critical thinkers with a consistent Christian worldview.

We desire that each learner becomes a faithful disciple of Christ who understands the meaning of the world they live in and applies the Scriptures to all they experience.

Our history

The project to establish Trinity was restarted in 2023, beginning with families running science classes together.

We have since adopted a working prospectus, identified curricula, and established the necessary legal and logistical frameworks to open our doors.

Where we are · Phase 1

The Missionary Phase

Trinity is currently operating in Phase 1, the Missionary Phase. This phase is best described as a co-operation of home-schooling families, open to pupils outside of these families as much as resources allow.

I

Combined classes

Pioneering families have started combined classes rather than a full separate institution.

II

Missionary teachers

We rely on missionary teachers — mostly parents of children in the school — who are dedicated to the vision of classical education.

III

Growth

This phase begins the process of building the infrastructure required for full registration and the eventual employment of a dedicated Principal in Phase 2.

Our confession

We hold to orthodox Christianity, accepting the substance of the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds.

We believe that true Christian education is possible only when Christian conviction underlies not just a part, but all of the curriculum.
